Strength, Endurance & Flexibility

Fitness Pilates is a challenging yet safe exercise that promotes improved core strength, back mobility, flexibility, posture, co-ordination and balance. It reduces stress and anxiety, boosts mood and improves sleep. It can relieve stiff joints, back ache and tones all over.

Fitness Pilates classes are suitable for everyone regardless of age, sex and level of fitness. Each exercise can be done at a different level of intensity with additional modifications to cater for anyone with specific muscular or joint limitations. If you are in any doubt, it is always advisable to check with your GP before undergoing any new exercise programme.

Participants are encouraged to work at their own individual levels, building strength, endurance and flexibility gradually at their own pace.

We sometimes use equipment in the class to add variation; this includes resistance bands, mini balls and blocks.
